Nick Gulliver has had a busy 2018/19. His largest and newest project is The Late Shift, which will be hosted by Nick himself. The Late Shift is a late night variety show showcasing a mix of celebrity guests, comedy sketches, entertaining games and edgy musical acts. The Late Shift looks to bring back Australian late night television in a new an exciting way, by increasing audience and viewer interaction. Since the release of the show’s sizzle to the Australian public, there has been a great buzz surrounding the show its imminent release in 2017.
Another one of Nick’s most recent gigs has been co-presenting Famous Entertainment News, a weekly spot for Famous Magazine, which aired nightly on MTV for 12 weeks.
Nick has been a part of a number of successful television shows. In 2014 Nick hosted World Class, an international lifestyle show shot across 6 countries, starting in Sydney, Australia. With 44 of the worlds’ best bartenders battling it out to see who will be crowned World Class Bartender of the Year; Nick followed their journey across Europe to the finals in Barcelona, Spain providing the low down on the competition, competitors and coverage of all the behind the scenes action.
Prior to hosting World Class, Nick hosted a weekly technology segment on Network Ten’s Breakfast, bringing the latest weird, whacky and affordable tech must-haves to the lounge rooms of eagerly awaiting viewers. This versatility and popularity led to Nick presenting a weekly social media trends segment on Ten’s Morning News, covering the latest trending topics from Korean pop - to the latest gossip and news breaking across the globe.
With numerous appearances on Network Ten’s Breakfast Show, Morning News, 5pm and Late News has meant Nick has become the go-to guy for lifestyle segments; working with high-profile brands such as Apple, Microsoft, Diageo, Sony, Nike and Xbox.
With his strong background both behind and in front of the camera, Nick’s skills are paramount to his established success in the Australian media industry. With the launch of his own late night show, there is no doubt that 2017 will be one of Nick’s biggest years yet.
